I don’t think one can create an environment for leadership creation, that too in today’s competitive world. Everyday is a new challenge for a businessman.
Traits of a successful entrepreneur
Leadership (initiation skills and ready to take calculative risks), H R skills to manage teams, Time Management, Good listening skills.
Not everyone is born with Leadership skills
People develop these skills over a period of time ; experience and understanding of situations / people – plays a very important role here. There have been many examples where children of highly successful business people failed initially.
Opportunity
For me, it all started in Graduation days, where after college time, I used to attend my family offices regularly for say half day. Understanding the strategies, rules ……lead to creation of own goals/ targets - in fulfilling the dreams.
Delight your customer
In Business scenario, one faces new challenges every day. It’s not like a task one has to do only one time. In Business environment, every customer’s requirement varies and accordingly your service towards the same- would vary. Moreover, earlier we used to say “Customer is King”, but now we say “Customer is God”. Hence it may not work if we say - U have to satisfy you customer – now you have to Delight your customer.

Our firm has been into Paper Distribution since 1965 and since that time, I can at least give 10 examples where people have joined us as employees, have been with us for long time and today are having their own small retail stationery shops, with our support. You can also say that they are our sub-dealers. Now they are also employing a few people with them.
