Message from the Secretary

Dear All,

A BIG HELLO to all of you!

Seldom do I get an opportunity to connect with you, Thanks to IBSAF World, it has given me, in fact, not only me but the whole IBSAF family a platform to interact, network, learn and most importantly grow with each other.

The magazine has turned two this year and I hope it continues to bring us closer as it has been very successfully doing in the last two years.

It has been a great journey so far, and it is very hard to believe that the magazine has turned two and IBSAF has completed ten years.

IBSAF was instituted in 1997 with a membership of 417 and now it has grown to be one of the largest Alumni Networks in India with a membership of more than 16000. It has been a great ten years. IBSAF has grown leaps and bounds not only in the numbers but also in the kind of connect it has with its members.

We started with the hope of giving the alumni fraternity a podium to remain in touch with each other and their alma mater. Ten years and IBSAF is not only offering the podium but also a plethora of services to the members; of course the valuable suggestions and feedback from our members has given us the direction to always work towards bigger and better things.

2008 saw IBSAF go International with the launch of chapters in Dubai, Singapore and UK. The chapter in India also grew from 14 to 18 with chapters being established at Nagpur, Lucknow, Goa and Mangalore. The increase in the number of chapters is to give our members touch points where ever they are.

In the pursuit of making the IBSAF experience better; Lounges were launched at few of the major cities. The Lounge at Delhi started functioning in June 2008 and is followed by Lounges in Hyderabad and Bangalore. The Lounges offer a perfect mix of business and entertainment to let you enjoy, relax, work, party and have fun.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of YOU who have helped us reach where we are today.

We wish to take this relationship forward and become not only the largest but the best in the next few years to come. With the hope of continuing to bring you closer and succeeding in all our endeavors
