Your first interaction with IBS
From the 3rd batch of IBS Gurgaon (’99), life at CSKM campus, though full of its peculiar problems, was great fun and, excellent learning. The academic inputs of those 2 years, learning from each other and the application of same in work situations especially during initial years were instrumental in making me reach where I am.

On career progress
I started with Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co Ltd.  It involved taking care of dealer and institutional sales in Delhi and NCR (National Capital Region).Later, I worked with Centrum Direct Ltd. as Branch Head for Foreign Exchange Services and Investments and Portfolio Management Services.
From the last two  years,  I am  with ICICI Bank Limited,  handling various responsibilities in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan in their Agribusiness division and Business Banking Division. Currently, I am the  Regional Manager in Business Banking Division.

Next 5 years
Plan to start my own venture in Business consulting to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). I also intend to complete my Doctoral Programme in Management

IBS Now vs. Then…
There were huge infrastructure problems during my  time at IBS. Now it is fully equipped with adequate infrastructure to impart quality management training of global standards. The brand IBS is well established now.

Experience with IBSAF
It was really a wonderful experience when I first visited IBSAF Lounge at Delhi. IBSAF is really taking worthwhile initiatives in linking IBS alumni to each other and also to the IBS. It is also a very good platform for professional and personal development of alumni.
Words for young Starters….
Life in work environment is very different from that in professional college. One can’t afford to lose control over the situation even for a while. Identify learning opportunities in your organization, adapt fast and execute with dexterity.
