On his initial chequered career
After completing my studies at IBS, I knew my field of work, but found it difficult to choose the right industry. I changed three jobs in three years before I found the right industry. I started my career with Venky’s in 98’, selling chicken. A year later, I joined Japha Oberoi Agro Ltd, again selling chicken. My trials and tribulations continued. I joined a dot com company which went bust when the dot com bubble burst. A turning point in my career was when I joined Citifinancial (Citigroup). In a few years I became the Asst. Vice President of the company. In the year 2006, I joined India Bulls as Vice President and continued to work there till a few months back.
A New Beginning!
A desire to start something new, despite a promising career and great pay package was received with apprehensions by my friends and parents. I stuck to my decision and conviction. So, was born “Navran Advanced Nano Products Development International Pvt. Ltd.,” an export oriented Nano Technology Plant to be set up in Himachal Pradesh ,which is 3rd in the world to manufacture chemically produced toner –a Nano material product. It’s a first of its kind in India. It’s a $15 million project for which the equity and debt is already in place. I am one of the Promoters and Executive Director, the other being an NRI, a renowned name in the world of chemicals. The site NANDIPL.COM gives all the details of this mammoth project.

We were the first batch of IBS Pune. We all loved and lived every moment of our life at IBS despite knowing the disadvantages of being the first entrants. Its amazing to see how IBS has grown, in just few years to be one the Premier Management Institutes in India. THREE CHEERS!

There is no use escaping from the truth - High Pressure Situation & Competition
At work, situations of high pressure are very common. It is all pervasive. There is just no escaping from it. In such a scenario, one has no alternative, but to live with it, and face it and start loving it. You just can’t think to be in a comfort zone. If you are unable to face it and live with it, then the highly competitive world just eats you or you stay behind- i.e not in the race anymore.
