Bhavish knew from his college days that he will strike big in the corporate world. His confidence coupled with his ability helped in realizing his dreams at quite an early age. He studied at   IBS Gurgaon and very fondly remembers the good days he spent learning and enjoying with his friends.  He eloquently credits IBS for instilling the quality of professionalism in their students. He says “At IBS I learnt to be professional. To complete the tasks within the deadline, with accuracy and precision, was something which I was taught and I used it at work”.  He further ponders  over the lessons learnt at IBS, and adds, “ a good  overall training , including in the core subject –finance, went a long way in developing his personality and gain expertise in his subject of specialization.’

He evinces keen interest in Finance sector, and did his summer internship at Escorts Financial Securities, in New Delhi.  After completing his studies at IBS he was very lucky to get his first career break in Tata AIG Life Insurance (Pune) as Executive Trainee. He says the skills that helped in getting good placement and opened the doors to flourishing career were ‘discipline’ and ‘professional approach towards work’.
At home he has his mother, who is a homemaker, and a brother who works in USA as Sr. Business Analyst with Washington Mutual.
His hobbies are truly guided by his interest – finance. He loves investing money, and treats it as his hobby. Cricket as a phobia has its tentacles spread in all the gallis and streets of India, not sparing Bhavish too. He plays whenever time permits.

While talking about IBSAF and his friends he says, “I am in touch with my friends through mails and IBSAF”. On being asked about IBS, he gives an honest and candid answer “In the next 10 years I see IBS as top Business School in the country, if it reduces the intake of the students for  the IBS program.”

While finally signing off, he gives a piece of advice to all the young starters “finish the assigned task in the time frame given, and please do it with enthusiasm and interest, success is sure to follow.”
