IBSAF Lounge opens at New Delhi

IBSAF, the alumni federation of all IBS alumni is proud to announce the opening of one of its kind lounge for all alumni at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. This is in continuation of IBSAF tradition of blazing the trail.

IBSAF’s mission is to create a platform for alumni members to interact and enrich themselves.

Sheer numbers (More than 16,000 alumni currently) makes it unique. But Team IBSAF is not the one to rest on its laurels. Like its alumni members who among them can count a bollywood actor, published authors, entrepreneurs, corporate CEOs, academicians, musicians – IBSAF continues to innovate.

It is always good to act rather than boast. Like all great works we aim to begin small and make it better as the time passes by with your inputs.

The lounge is getting ready for an April launch. Let’s take you on a tour for a first-hand look inside the lounge.

The Concept
Create a space where members and their near and dear ones can come, relax, mingle, learn and have fun

The Location
Right next to popular Central Market and 3Cs (multiplex complex) in Lajpat Nagar, around 150 off the ring road. (So now you can shop till you drop, but rather than dropping at a restaurant do so at your own lounge for a soft drink and chat with friends.)

The Facility
The lounge is a 3600 square feet facility (2 floors, 1800 sq. ft. each floor).This facility is housed in 2 floors right on top of Reliance Web world as you enter Lajpat Nagar from Ring Road.

1st Floor houses a reception, executive working area, couches to seat comfortably around 30 members at onetime and also a pantry. Soon we a library with a good mix of management, coffee table, fiction and non-fiction books will be added.

2nd Floor has a flexible arrangement. The space mostly open has foldable laptop tables and a 60 seat seminar area with a LCD screen. This will also double as a mini theater for private movie screenings.

On this floor, there is also a private meeting room which can seat up to 8 members.
