Lead Actors: Ajay Devgan, Pankaj Kapoor, Vidya Balan
Supporting Cast: Darshan Jariwala

Lyrics: Late Dushyant Kumar, Sameer
The very name of the movie promises something different from the stereo-type. It reminds people about the brutal killing of the famous theatre activist Safdar Hashmi who was shot down by political goons while staging a play of the same name at Delhi. With this kind of a history to fall back upon, the movie Halla Bol aims to bring back the genre of issue based movies to today’s audience with the expertise of Rajkumar Santoshi. The successful and accomplished storyteller-director of Ghayal, Damini and Ghatak is back stirring and pricking your conscience. Halla Bol is, without an iota of doubt, a film that reflects the current times.

Halla Bol is the story of Ashfaque, a small town boy, who makes it in a big way to the movie world. In course of time, immersed in his tinsel success, the once upon a time activist loses his integrity and self-identity. It took a shocking incident like murder at a party for Ashfaque to sit back and relook at his surroundings.
The movie tells about the games the rich and powerful play. It tells about corruption that has become a part of our everyday life. It tells you that a lone voice, raised against injustice, can multiply into millions gradually.
The performances in the movie are carried out with much care and affection by the seasoned stars of our day.

Taare Zameen Par
Director: Aamir Khan
Story: Amole Gupte
Lead Actors: Aamir Khan, Darsheel Safary, Sachet Engineer, Tanay Cheda, Tisca Chopra, Vipin Sharma
Music Director: Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy
Lyrics: Prasoon Joshi
At the very outset, it is clear that Taare Zameen Par is not one of those films that merely entertains, but also enlightens. Taare Zameen Par is one film that makes you peep into a child's mind. The narration and performances are particularly heart rendering. It is a must-be-seen work, especially for parents with adolescent and preadolescent children. It is very insightful about the psyche of a dyslexic. The symptoms that are emphasized in the movie are behaviours commonly found among children. It’s just that we are not aware of their predicament or do not understand their difficulties due to our ‘limited’ understanding. How many of us even care to remember that apparently every one out of 15 children is prone to be learning disabled, a symptom which manifests in reading difficulties irrespective of average intelligence and provides considerable hindrances in academic progress?
Taare Zameen Par is a comment on our stereotype teaching systems as it focuses only on the skills of literacy. It also shows that how some parents, in their pursuit to make their child ‘stronger’ academically, forget that there's hitherto untapped talent that needs to be nourished and encouraged.
Taare Zameen Par belongs to Master Darsheel Safary—a performance that makes the best of performances pale in comparison— a performance that deserves brownie points—a performance that'll always come first on your mind the moment someone mentions Taare Zameen Par—a performance that's impeccable, flawless and astounding—a performance that moves you and makes you reflect on your growing years—a performance that merits a special award!
