The mood in general is alleviated. Curtsey, our Finance Minister and the triumphant Indian Cricket Team! The Finance Minister, with an eye on the general elections 2009, has presented us with a please-all budget. And we do not mind as long as it gratifies our pockets. The Indian victory; both over the invincible, after a prolonged and arid spell of 23 years, and in the Under 19 World Cup, added to the blithe atmosphere. The tour which had become more of a mental game was put to a justified end by the men in blue who answered back through their spirited game. And with all these sunny news, we are here to present you the March 2008 issue of the IBSAF World. If it’s celebration and business on the international and national scenario, IBSAF ambit is not lackadaisical either. This issue coincides with the big event, the IBS Admission 2008 that is. Let us take this opportunity and extend our hearty welcome to all those who have just joined the proud IBS family. This jubilation multiplies to see our very own members take time out of their busy schedules to participate in the selection process. Their valued inputs and lived experiences will prove vital to establish that perfect chord of inspiration among the newcomers. As IBSAF, we are truly proud to be a part of this very successful admission process. It gave us immense pleasure to experience the old familial feeling as we saw our members help the students evaluate alternatives, make judgments, re-think and analyze. Indeed it was a time of celebration! |
